Seen in Color is an ongoing awareness and education initiative that uses color to bring visibility to important causes affecting individuals, families, and communities.
Through educational content, community engagement, and awareness activities, we help create opportunities for people to learn, connect, and show their support.

Messages of Hope invites individuals to turn compassion into action by learning more about becoming a volunteer Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line.
Participants can explore the organization's online training and learn how trained volunteers provide confidential support to people experiencing difficult moments and emotional distress.
Voices Not Forgotten: GFWC National Day of Service

For the 2026 GFWC International Day of Service, our club will launch “Voices Not Forgotten,” a community awareness and advocacy initiative focused on the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives (MMIWR) crisis.

Birthday in a Bag

Celebrate You: Birthday in a Bag helps make birthdays a little brighter for children and families who may not otherwise have the resources for a celebration.
Members will assemble complete birthday kits with cake-making supplies and other celebration essentials, giving families an opportunity to create a special birthday experience of their own.
Save A Life Initiative

The Save A Life Initiative brings overdose prevention education and resources directly into our community. Through awareness activities, educational opportunities, and access to naloxone, we encourage community members to learn how they can recognize and respond to an overdose—and potentially save a life.

Be My Eyes
Ongoing (Launches October)
Be My Eyes connects volunteers with people who are blind or have low vision through a free mobile app.
GFWC Community Partners encourages members and community supporters to become volunteers and provide visual assistance through live video calls when help is needed. Whether identifying an item, reading a label, or helping navigate an everyday task, a few minutes of your time can make a meaningful difference.
Ready to Respond: CPR Initiative
October 2026
GFWC Community Partners is helping community members build the knowledge and confidence to respond during a cardiac emergency. Participants will have the opportunity to learn essential CPR and lifesaving response skills through both in-person and online options.
